Durable material. Metal parts are made out of stainless steel 304. Plastic parts are made out of ABS plastic and the seal neoprene. In case the weighted float is damaged the valve will close and no water will leak out. The valve body and seal body are both made from ABS plastic and screwed as well as glue welded together. No tools are required for adjustment.
